Bonnet does look odd! Probably seemed a good idea at the time.

Yes it looks like an original ally bonnet. Could do with fitting better, but I can't criticise it too much as the car does look great. Minilites look good on it too and not sticking out at all anywhere. Roger, is it worth you having a word with this guy re getting your wheels?

It is my understanding that there are some dimensional differences between the Haldane & the 'current' 3000, their chassis in particular; may be Roy or Nigel or any other Haldane owner / expert can enlighten me - or am I completely wrong (again)?

I thought the only difference was some mods to the rear shock mounts and some extra bits that we were given to weld in to the chassis to strengthen it in a few places, other mods were the grill door windows and screen pillars. have you got a sierra dif and have had to have your drive shafts shortened? and is it a escort rack? if you need I can drop the tape across my wheel centres.

Nigel, you are probably right.  The 3000 uses the Sierra diff with shortened half shafts and shortened (I think) Escort steering rack.  Don't worry about dimensions, thanks.
